   Westchester County Separation Incentive

It seems many employees have not heard of the Westchester Separation Incentive.
Shop Stewards: Print this and notify those workers with no access to computers.

The County of Westchester is offering a monetary Separation Incentive to any employee who has 10 years of Westchester County service or is eligible to retire per the NYS Retirement System.
The voluntary separation agreement would give eligible full-time employees $1,000 for each year of completed service (maximum $30,000) if they voluntarily leave county government. Applications must be in by June 1 to leave by July 1, 2010.  It is anticipated by the County that the plan will save between $6.8 million and $19 million annually, depending on the number of employees who participate.  The documents below appear on the County intranet and were prepared by the County and NY State.
Please read them thoroughly.
