Subject: OPEN INVITATION to Westchester County Elected Officials

The members of Westchester County CSEA Unit 9200 have been without a union contract for 19 months. We are having a contract rally on Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 11:30am - 1:30pm in front of the Michaelian Office Building in support of a fair and equitable contract.
We are inviting all the Legislators to attend the rally and walk with us, as we have supported you in your past election campaigns. We are asking for the same respect from the County Executive, the Deputy County executive, and all the Legislators that we have shown to you in the past 19 months.
The County Executive said
“This would never happen under my watch”!
WHAT HAPPENED ?
We are not seeking to obtain a contract that will be a burden to anyone – but one that is FAIR, and EQUITABLE to the contracts of the other unions in the County employ!
AS UNION MEMBERS, RESPECT IS ALL WE ASK FOR !
SO COME AND SHOW US THE RESPECT WE DESERVE !
