New York Sports Club Passport Membership Plan

Gym Memberships for CSEA Unit 9200 Union Members Exclusive Discount rate of $53.75/month for a 1-year Passport plan.
A one-time $59 Initiation Fee charged most months. $20 Swipe Card Fee at joining.

The membership enrollment will be handled centrally though the New York Sports Clubs Corporate Call Center, not at NYSC gym club locations.  The membership is good at all 165 gym locations in the New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC areas.  Ten (10) gyms in Westchester, 24 in New Jersey, 9 in Connecticut, and many dozens in the NYC boroughs, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. areas.

The $53.75 per month rate can only be obtained by calling
 the (800) 611-9833 number.  
Here’s how CSEA members can get started:

1. Contact the New York Sports Club Corporate Call Center at (800) 611-9833 Mon - Fri.  Identify yourself as a CSEA Unit 9200 member who wishes to join using the $53.75 per month rate.   Similar rates available for Spouses, Partners, Children, and Family.

Existing NYSC members paying higher rates are now eligible to rollover to this plan but restrictions apply: The existing NYSC member must be out of contract. Family members are not eligible to roll over. They can only enroll as new members. Family defined as residing in the same household with proof of residency.  Transfer fee may apply.
2. A fitness advisor will answer any questions and assist each CSEA member through the enrollment process on the phone.  The NYSC advisor will fax the NYSC Membership Agreement w/ Terms&Conditions.  Monthly automatic payment to debit or credit card.
3. The CSEA union member (gym enrollee) completes, signs, and faxes a NYSC Membership Agreement and Terms & Conditions sheet  along with a copy of the AFSCME /CSEA green union membership card for verification purposes.    
4. New York Sports Club then activates the membership and notifies the enrollee that they can visit any club to get started.

This program is for a Passport Membership: (full access and use of all gym locations and for all open hours).  
Membership includes: Group Exercise Classes, XpressLine 22-minute workout, Pilates and Yoga, racquet sports, swimming, spin cycling, free weights, televisions on cardio equipment, and locker rooms.  This is the ultimate membership plan at NYSC.
Babysitting, group "exclusive classes" and laundry service have applicable fees that vary by club. Facilities vary by club location.
