The article on Page 11 of the April 26,
2007 issue
(Vol. I, No. XXXVIII) has a mistake
regarding an offer to DSS employees. There was NO offer to
DSS employees of 4 percent! One department CANNOT be offered a raise without it
being offered to ALL CSEA Unit 9200 members!! The misinterpretation came about from the directive by
the Department to include a 4 % in contracts with outside agencies for 2007! NOT
WITH COUNTY DSS EMPLOYEES!! We are ALL in this together!!! Any wage offer will be for all 4,000+
