Contract Update of Nov 13, 2008

We have been sent the “Survey”
from One Care Street at the County‘s direction to fill out by
12/15/08.
It is the Union’s position that
we do not have a ratified contract from the Board
of Legislators and until that time, no changes have been
made to our situation regarding the survey or any other
provision of the contract !
Therefore, we are
strongly suggesting that
you DO NOT FILL OUT THE SURVEY until
such time when we do have a ratified contract by the Board in
place.
It is your choice to make regarding the survey.
The Board’s Budget Committee is
meeting Monday 11/17/08 to hear from the County regarding the
contract.
The
expected date of ratification by the Board is now
November 24, 2008. If that happens, we will have 3 weeks to meet
the Fact Finders’
date of 12/15/08. |
