This is as a result of the recount of June 25, 2009 of the President and Treasurer positions.
The American Arbitration Association conducted the elections as an impartial contractor and mailed out the ballots, received them, and tabulated the results. The Ballot Period was May 15 to June 12, 2009.
Ballots for the Unit 9200 Union Officer's Election (representing Westchester County CSEA workers in all departments) were mailed May 12, 2009 to 3,539 CSEA Union Members.
Of that 3,539 total, 1,516 Ballots were received by the 9 AM, June 12, 2009 deadline.
Of the 3,539 CSEA Union members, 2,023 did not send in their votes during the Ballot Period.
