Ask your doctor to prescribe Generics to save money
for most prescriptions.
If you need Allergy and Stomach Acid drugs ask your
doctor to recommend OTC (over the counter)
non-prescription drugs to save money.
The third filling of the same prescription will
require the use of the 3 month mail order program
and will require paying 2 X (double) co-pays as
applicable.
Warehouse stores such as Costco or BJ's have the best prices
for OTC drugs.
Do PPIs (stomach acid
reducers) Have Long-Term Side Effects?
From Harvard Medical School: worth reading if

False
Rumors Circulate About Health Care Reform
A rumor has been circulating that starting in
2011 you will have to start paying taxes on the
total cost of your health insurance. This
rumor is 100% totally false!
Starting in 2011, your annual W-2 statement will
tell you the cost of your health insurance
policy for the previous year. However, this
amount will NOT
be added into your gross wages for tax purposes.
Starting in 2018, a 40% tax will be placed on
health insurers who issue policies that are
valued over $27,500 for families and $10,200 for
individual policies. This tax will be paid by
insurance companies, not individuals, and will
not go into effect for eight more years.
If you have any questions regarding health care
reform, please contact the Legislative and
Political Action Department.
