"Single" in this discussion refers to the CSEA member who worked for Westchester County.  The years of service shown below refer to only the years employed by Westchester County; it does not refer to any years credited with the NYS Retirement System. If the CSEA member retires and chooses to have the Family coverage, the monthly cost is the total of the Single and Family costs shown below for the 10-19 year and 5-9 year categories.

For Family Rate computations, the difference between the single and family rate costs is used, or $672.00/month.
The Single rate (the rate for the CSEA member) equals $373.00/month.

20 + years of Westchester County Service:
Single = 100% paid for by County
Family = $672 X 20% = $135/month

10-19 years:
Single =  $373 X 25% = $93.25/month
Family = $672 X 50% = $336/month

5-9 years:
Single =  $373 X 50% = $186.50/month
Family = $672 X 75% = $504/month
