Sick Bank Program revised 5/20/08   Hit Counter

The Sick Bank is a CSEA contract benefit available for many years to CSEA union members. 
The CSEA Sick Bank Committee also administers the Sick Bank for other non CSEA County employees. 
The Benefit
:
By joining the Sick Bank, you continue to receive a paycheck in the event of an extended illness that depletes all your Sick Time, Annual Leave, and Personal Leave hours.

 December 14, 2007 Notice: Deadline to donate the minimum 2 days to remain in the SB Program was extended to January 18, 2008.  Three more days are required by Feb 1, 2009.

Sick Bank Contribution Deadlines for Maintaining this Program Each current member is required to contribute a total of 5 days (or more) by Feb. 1, 2009.  Reminder: Per our contract, CSEA employees receive 1 Sick Leave day each month. From Nov 1, 2007 to Feb. 1, 2009, current employees will receive 16 Sick Leave days. 
By January 18, 2008: 2 Days must have been donated.
By June 1, 2008: 1 day must be donated
By Sept. 1, 2008: 1 day must be donated
By Feb. 1, 2009: 1 day must be donated
Every year commencing in Feb. 1, 2010: 1 more day must be donated yearly.

If you find your name on the 2nd list, please e-mail the Sick Bank Committee with your name, last 4 digits of your Social Security Number, and your Department. They will investigate and make the correction.
