May 25, 2004 Negotiation Team Announcement

Yesterday, after 29 months, CSEA’s Westchester County Employees Unit 9200 reached a tentative agreement with Westchester County.  The agreement must be ratified by the membership and the Board of Legislators before it can take effect.

No terms of the agreement will be released until our presentation to the membership on Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at the County Center in White Plains from 6 to 9 PM.
The following day the terms will be posted on the www.csea9200.com website and e-mails will be sent to our distribution list for posting throughout the workplaces.
On June 2, we will hold two sessions during the day at the County Courthouse in White Plains at 12:15 and 1:15 PM (attend either session).

The agreement does not contain:
·     Any zeroes.
·     A bonus.
·  Any health insurance premium contributions by members .

We currently are arranging for the mailing of the ballots for member voting on the agreement.  
As we finalize the publication of the details, we will distribute them to the membership via website and e-mail.
