Tuition Reimbursement Benefit - 2003 Expenses 


 The Tuition Reimbursement payments to 123 CSEA Unit 9200 members who applied and were approved were mailed out on June 7, 2004.  A total of $300,000 was reimbursed to our 123 members for their 2003 calendar year expenses.  As you know, the reimbursement program is one of our negotiated benefits that your union has obtained.

The Tuition Reimbursement Committee is comprised of County Administration and of CSEA Unit 9200 members.  They cooperatively meet several times after the application deadline date and review all applications. Approximately $444,500 of tuition expenses were approved by the Committee for CSEA members.  Dividing the $300,000 available for reimbursement by the $444,500 approved sum produced the 67.5% reimbursement rate.
