FRAGMENTATION

Late Friday (1/26/07), we received notification that PERB has received a petition for fragmentation from the WCC Staff Union showing the needed 30% of interest to form a new union.  CSEA Albany (Law Department) will be assigning an attorney to represent CSEA’s interest in this case before PERB.  We have no other information to provide at this time.  As more comes available from Albany we will relay that to you.  We are expecting them to be able to answer all the possible questions that will arise from this issue.  Please be patient…..as we know more…..we will let you know as well.
