YOU,
the 3,800 members of CSEA Unit 9200, ARE the Union.
The future of the working men and women of America is dependent upon a
strong, united labor movement. The strength of that movement is in our
numbers: thousands of men and women united, striving for the same common
goals - fairness, justice, and equality in the workplace.
We are all CSEA Unit 9200 members and Westchester County employees. In that regard, as County employees we unquestionably dedicate ourselves to our assignments, our supervisor’s requests, and willingly and capably perform our tasks for the benefit of the citizens we work for.
When we
think of ourselves as CSEA Unit 9200 Union members, we reinforce our
position in demanding that the administration honestly and fairly
negotiate with us and in addressing work related issues and problems,
especially those related to our contract and our workplace concerns.
When we
strengthen ourselves by adopting
our strong solidarity of numbers (we
have 3,800 members in our Union, the largest in our CSEA Region 3) our
Negotiation and Labor/Management committees go into meetings with more muscle in demanding
the salary increases, benefits, retro payments, contract clause improvements,
rights, and policies that all our
members deserve!
We are only as strong as our membership makes the Union.
